Team Maryland Lacrosse

My latest painting was inspired by the Maryland lacrosse team that traditionally carries the Maryland flag out of the tunnel at home games.  Since 1922, a total of 110 first-team All-American honors have been bestowed upon Maryland players.  Maryland has never finished with a losing record, a feat unmatched by any other major college lacrosse team.

Notre Dame Lacrosse

My newest painting is of the Notre Dame Lacrosse team celebrating a goal.  Truly showing the sportsmanship and team unity of the sport of lacrosse.  Notre Dame men's lacrosse was a club sport until it became a varsity program in the 1981 season. Notre Dame currently competes as a member of the Big East Conference and plays its home games at Arlotta Stadium. At a to be determined date before 2015, Notre Dame will move to theAtlantic Coast Conference.

Time to Play

My latest work is a North Carolina lacrosse player holding the ball getting ready for play. I titled this piece, "Time to Play".  North Carolina currently competes as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and plays its home games at Fetzer Field and Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  The first lacrosse team was formed in 1937 at the club level. At the time, they used old equipment from the football team.

Towson Lacrosse

Here is my latest painting of a Towson lacrosse player going up against a Johns Hopkins defender. The Towson Tigers, formerly the Towson College Knights, are the athletics teams of Towson University. All of the major athletic teams compete in the Colonial Athletic Association with 20 Division I athletic teams (13 in women's sports, 7 in men's sports).  Towson University offers the most comprehensive sports program in the metropolitan Baltimore area, fielding 20 varsity teams that compete in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Stevenson Lacrosse Painting

Here is my new painting of a Stevenson lacrosse player, going up against a player from Salisbury.  Stevenson University was founded in Maryland as Villa Julie College in 1947. The Mustangs are a member of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC).
